Hypothermia is a condition where the body’s temperature is below normal. It is a medical emergency that requires immediate attention. The body also loses heat faster than it can warm itself up. There are many factors that could cause hypothermia: decreased environmental temperatures, malignancy in the area of the brain controlling temperature, etc. Symptoms are: shivering, reduced heart rate, disorientation, pale skin and tiredness.
