Hypospadias is a genetic abnormality wherein the newborn has both a urethra and a penis. This condition could pose a problem in passing urine as well as maintaining erections later in life. The opening of the urethra is located on the underside of the penis, there is also a noticeable hooded appearance of the foreskin and a tightening of the tissues that envelope the penis.
