Hoarse voice
Hoarse voice is a symptom of laryngitis. Other symptoms are sore throat, difficulty speaking and eating, mild fever, unproductive cough and a feeling of weakness. Symptoms could be mild or could worsen in just a matter of hours. Laryngitis is self-limiting. However, in children the larynx could swell and block the airways and therefore immediate medical attention is required.
