Hip problems (child
Hip problems in children are conditions that range from pains in the hips, knees or thighs and impinge on the hip. A child may also have an elevated body temperature, may feel weak and unable to move about. The most common diagnosis is irritable hip or toxic synovitis where the lining of the hip joint is irritated and becomes inflamed. This may be after a severe viral infection in the respiratory or digestive system. Medical attention is needed immediately.
