General medical conditions have 4 main types. These types include infectious diseases, mental disorders, metabolic disorders and contagious diseases. The most common medical conditions are hypertension, diabetes mellitus, hepatitis, tuberculosis, cancer, thyroid gland disorders, endocrine abnormalities, cardiovascular conditions, including myocardial infarction, angina and stroke, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pulmonary fibrosis, kidney and gall stones and sleep disorders e.g. insomnia, somnolence and sleep apnea.
