Chlamydia test

A chlamydia test is a diagnostic procedure that will determine if a person is suffering from a chlamydia infection. A swab is used to collect a specimen from the genitals as well as a urine sample. The samples are sent to a laboratory for analysis. If a person also has symptoms in the eyes,a sample may also be taken from that area to be tested. If oral sex has occurred, a swab may also be taken from the throat.
