In this disease the patient has a feeling of a burning sensation in the mouth. In some people who have a dry mouth, fungal infection, vitamin(s) deficiencies, food allergy, anxiety, a habit of teeth grinding, low functioning thyroid, or dentures, the discomfort in the mouth can be attributed to these conditions. Such patients also have abnormal or loss of taste sensation.
