Brachytherapy
Brachytherapy is a treatment for prostate cancer. It is the term for internal radiotherapy wherein permanent radioactive seeds are implanted in the prostate gland. Brachytherapy is used to ensure a 100% success rate for prostate cancer sufferers. The patient will need to be admitted to the hospital to perform the procedure urgently. But as these radioactive seeds remain in the body, they may also affect healthy cells.
