Dental implant
A dental implant is an artificial tooth root implant into your jaw that may then support either a new tooth (crown) or a bridge. Implants are made of titanium and take the place of a natural root. Implants are often used for cosmetic reasons as well as the replacement of teeth that have been lost due to disease, but dentures are not desired.
