Mr Nawar Abdulsattar undertook his medical training in Iran and subsequently trained to become a Swedish-Board certified specialist in trauma and orthopaedics in Stockholm. During his training he did research into developmental hip dysplasia and completed PhD studies at Gothenburg University on ankle fractures epidemiology, treatment methods and outcomes. Following a hip and knee arthroplasty fellowship at the Stockholm Ortho Center, he was appointed as a consultant surgeon at Aleris Hospitals in Stockholm. A high volume surgeon who has performed over 1000 joint replacements, he has worked at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Emersons Green since 2022.
