Roman Miller: Lead Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Plymouth
Mr Roman Miller graduated from Silesian Medical University in Katowice, Poland in 1991. He completed his specialist training in orthopaedic and trauma surgery in 1998, followed by a PhD in Orthopaedics in 2002. He worked as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Poland for six years before moving to the UK in 2004. He worked at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in London, going on to complete a fellowship in Young and Adult Hip Surgery at the Wellington Hospital in London, followed by a Senior Clinical Fellowship in Acetabular Surgery and Revision Lower Limb Arthroplasty at St George’s Hospital in London. Mr Miller was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Plymouth in 2010. He is a high volume surgeon with a special interest in primary and complex primary lower limb arthroplasty, including partial knee arthroplasty. His aim is to provide the most accurate joint reconstruction for optimising functional recovery for every patient and he has undergone further training on customised implants for patients with abnormal anatomy who require lower limb arthroplasty.
