Mr Charles Ayekoloye graduated from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria in 1985 and completed his specialist orthopaedic training on the North-West England rotation in 2002. He went on to undertake fellowships in lower limb arthroplasty at Kings College Hospital in London, the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading, and a senior fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Canada. He was awarded a master’s degree in medical research from Warwick University and a distinction masters in orthopaedic science from the University of Salford. Mr Ayekoloye has worked throughout his career as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in lower limb arthroplasty. His specialisation and bulk of his practice is in hip and knee joint replacements, including complex primary hip and knee reconstructions. He also performs unicompartmental knee replacement and knee arthroscopy.
