Neil Jain: Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Cheshire
Mr Neil Jain is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in treating sports injuries, particularly to the knee, shoulder and elbow. This includes keyhole surgery for damage to knees, such as ligament and cartilage injury and shoulder, such as dislocation and rotator cuff tear. He also uses non-surgical treatments including injections of platelet rich plasma. Mr Jain completed a sports injuries and reconstructive arthroscopy fellowship at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and has worked with many sports clubs and associations including those involved with football, rugby, baseball, ice hockey, American football, martial arts and boxing. He has recently collaborated with the Football Association on projects to help decrease the number of injuries in the National Football Team. Mr Jain is based at Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust.
