Training and experience

Dr Paul Ettlinger qualified in medicine from the University of Southampton in 1981. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and in Occupational Health.

From 1985 until 1991, Dr Ettlinger was the Principal in a NHS General Practice operated by the Family Health Service Authority for Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster. He has also lectured at St Mary's Hospital Medical School and worked as an Assistant to the Professor of Surgery at the Westminster Teaching Hospital.

A firm believer that general practice should provide a personal service and continuity of care, Dr Ettlinger established The London General Practice in the heart of London's medical district serving families, the entertainment industry, multinational companies and prestigious London hotels.

Dr Ettlinger has a particular interest in preventative medicine and men's health. As part of his occupational health duties, he provides assessments for several companies and their employees.
