David Murray's clinical interests in endovascular and vascular surgery

Mr Murray's clinical interests include:

  • Minimally invasive 'keyhole' surgery for peripheral vascular disease including angioplasty and stenting and combined open and endovacular solutions to minimise surgical insult, allowing earlier mobilty and reduced hospital inpatient stay

  • EVAR for abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA), complex EVAR including fenestrated and branches Iliac stents when possible. Research has proven that this reduces mortality and complication in the short to medium term

  • Carotid endartercetomy surgery for the prevention of stroke, and conventional surgery and VNUS (Radiofrequency Ablation) for varicose veins.
