Non-surgical and minimally invasive treatments for back and neck pain in Cardiff and South Wales

Mr Davies offers a range of injection therapies for the treatment of certain neck and back problems, including sciatica, neck and arm pain, facet joint pain, prolapsed intervertebral disc, coccydinia, spinal stenosis, spondylolysis and osteoporotic fracture.  He also offers effective relief from facet joint pain using radiofrequency neurotomy, a minimally invasive technique to block the nerves that supply the inflamed joint using special radiofrequency needles.

With private clinics at the Cardiff Bay Clinic and The Vale Hospital, Mr Davies has access to the latest diagnostic technology and techniques, including MRI scanning, and patients with back pain can often be diagnosed and treated non-surgically within the one visit.

Spinal surgery in Cardiff and South Wales

While the majority of back problems can be dealt with using non-surgical treatments, surgery may be necessary for conditions that are compressing the spinal nerves or cord, are causing instability of the spine, or are causing a severe deformity.  It may also be recommended where conservative treatments have failed to bring relief from pain.

Highly experienced and skilled in all aspects of spinal surgery, Mr Davies offers all the latest techniques for spinal disc surgery, decompression of the spinal nerves and cord, spinal fusion and stabilisation, and correction of spinal deformities such as scoliosis.
