the latest minimally invasive surgery for spinal disc problems
Where surgery is the only appropriate treatment for a
back problem, Mr Quaile is committed to using the least invasive
technique available. He is highly experienced in the use of the AxiaLIF
system for the treatment of damaged and diseased spinal discs at L5/S1,
by which the discs are fused through a small incision in the back.
Compared to open spinal surgery, this technique is quicker, often being
performed as day surgery, carries less risk to the patient, and results
in a quicker recovery time and much smaller scar.
