An experienced arthroscopic surgeon in Surrey and Berkshire
Arthroscopy is a surgical technique to view the inside of the shoulder
or elbow joint using a fibre optic probe with an attached camera,
inserted through a small incision in the skin. Used when other tests
such as MRI and CT have proved inconclusive, it enables the surgeon to
clearly view and diagnose a problem in a joint. Treatment procedures
such as repair of torn tendons, or removal of debris and damaged tissue
(debridement) can also be performed arthroscopically.
Highly skilled in shoulder and elbow arthroscopy, Mr
Gupta is nationally and internationally recognised as a lecturer and
surgical instructor in the field, particularly for his knowledge and
expertise in complex arthroscopic surgery.
