Background and training
Mr Banim studied for his medical degree at London University, from where he qualified in 1993 with both a BSc (Hons) as well as the medical degree, MB BS. Following this he underwent basic training in and around London
After gaining his Fellowhip in Surgery, he was appointed to the West Midlands Training Program and was taught at The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital, Oswestry, along with hospitals in North Wales and Stoke-on-Trent.
After passing his Speciality Fellowship exams, Mr Banim's training then took him first to Wrightington, the hospital where modern-day hip replacements were developed, and then on to America for further training in trauma and sports surgery.
Mr Banim is on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council, registration number 403124, and has full medical indemnity.
