Computer-guided knee replacement in London
Knee replacement surgery is now a routine treatment for arthritic or damaged knee joints, reducing pain and improving quality of life for thousands of people in the UK every year. The latest computer-guided technique pioneered by Mr Adhikari, allows him to customise the knee implant to the specific anatomy of the patient, resulting in a fit that is as close to that of a natural joint as possible. Because of their exact fit, customised knee replacements are expected to last longer than standard ones, and the pre-surgery planning involved in the technique lessens surgery times and reduces the chances of complications.
Mr. Ajeya Adhikari is an accredited consultant for the UK's leading private healthcare providers and private hospitals, including HCA Hospitals.
