Professor Geeta Nargund is a Senior Consultant Gynaecologist and Lead for Reproductive Medicine services at St George’s University Hospital, London. She specialises in fertility, polycystic ovary syndrome, gynaecological endocrinology, menopause and hormone replacement problems.
Professor Nargund is also the Medical Director of Create Health Clinics, London (The Centre for Reproduction and Advanced Technology). She has published more than 100 peer-reviewed scientific papers including abstracts and several book chapters in the field of Assisted Reproduction and Advanced Ultrasound in reproductive medicine. She is a reviewer for several scientific journals in the field of human reproduction. She has been an examiner for MD, PhD and UK undergraduate & postgraduate degrees. She is an accredited trainer for special skills modules by the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists and the British Fertility Society.
A pioneer in natural and mild assisted reproduction
Geeta Nargund is the President of the International Society for Mild Approaches in Assisted Reproduction (ISMAAR). She is the author of the first scientific paper on “cumulative live birth rates with natural cycle IVF”. She is a pioneer and scientific writer on “Natural and Mild IVF”.
She has been the Chairperson of the European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) Special Task Force on “Mild ART” and is a member of the Steering Committee of the ESHRE Task Force on “Infertility in developing countries”. She is a member of the Expert Committee on infertility for the World Health Organisation (WHO).

Professor Nargund is a Visiting Professor at Hasselt University, Medical Faculty (working at Genk University Hospital), Belgium; St Marco University Lima, Peru (the oldest university in South America) and SDM Medical College, India.
She is passionate about women’s health, prevention of infertility & making assisted conception treatments more physiological, safer and affordable globally.
She is the Founder & Chief Executive of the UK national women’s charity, Health Education Research (HER) Trust. Through this charity, she conducts public education programmes on Women’s Health.
She has been a Senior Governor of Primary & Secondary State Schools in Merton, South London. She has been actively involved in National & International Charities promoting Education, Women’s development, Equality and Diversity and Social mobility in the last 15 years.
