Abhay Chopada : Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon, London

Consultant Surgeon with special interest in colorectal surgery,hernia surgery, laproscopic and gastrointestinal surgery

Mr Chopada MS, MSSc, FRCS (Eng), FRCSI, FRCS (Gen) is a Consultant Colorectal and General Surgeon ,with 16 years of experience in general surgery, based at Ealing Hospital NHS Trust since Dec 2003.

He has a special interest in colorectal and general surgery especially in the management of rectal bleeding, hernia surgery, abdominal problems, colon cancer, laparoscopic gallbladder and colonic surgery. He is also an expert endoscopist offering upper GI Endoscopy(OGD) and Colonoscopy.

He has a strong academic background and has published several research papers in General Surgery and Coloproctology. He is also deeply involved in teaching medical students and is an Hon. Senior Lecturer at Imperial College School of Medicine, London.
