Dr Chris Fraser is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Specialist Endoscopist practising in Harrow and London. He is an internationally-renowned luminal gastroenterologist and gastrointestinal endoscopist who specialises in colon cancer and the prevention of bowel cancer, gastro-oesophageal (acid) reflux and dyspepsia (indigestion), Crohn's disease, polyps, tumours, gastrointestinal bleeding and inflammatory bowel disease.

Dr Chris Fraser MB ChB MD FRCP is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Specialist Endoscopist at The Wolfson Unit for Endoscopy, St Mark's Hospital Harrow and Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College School of Medicine, London.
He qualified from Edinburgh University in 1992 and trained in Aberdeen, Birmingham, Manchester and London. He achieved MRCP in 1996 and was awarded an MD in 2004 for his thesis which examined the neurophysiologic control of human swallowing. He became FRCP in 2009. He undertook the 1st advanced endoscopy fellowship at The Wolfson Unit for Endoscopy at St Mark's Hospital in 2003 prior to his consultant appointment in 2004.

Dr Fraser is a nationally accredited NHS bowel cancer screening specialist in colonoscopy. He successfully led The St Mark's Hospital bid to become one of the first bowel cancer screening centres in England for the National Bowel Cancer Screening Programme in 2006.
