Chan Jeer MBBS FRCS (Eng) FRCS (Tr & Orth), born in the UK, qualified from King's College Hospital School of Medicine and Dentistry, London in 1993. After professorial house jobs in medicine and surgery and working as a Casualty SHO at King's, he became an anatomy demonstrator at Guy's, London.
In 1997, after basic surgical training on the renowned Canterbury rotation in Kent, he obtained Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (England). In 2002, he was awarded FRCS (Trauma and Orthopaedics) after higher surgical training in Trauma and Orthopaedics in the South East Thames rotation.
Specialist training in Australia and Ireland
To increase his expertise in hip and knee replacement he undertook Fellowship training in Australia and Ireland. In Australia, he trained at the prestigious Sportsmed institute of Arthroplasty and Sports Medicine with Greg Keene, Roger Oakeshott, Tony Spriggins & Roger Paterson. His experience included :-

The Dublin Fellowship with Michael Stephens provided experience in Adult and Paediatric Foot and Ankle surgery, including Ankle Arthroplasty and Arthroscopy, and all aspects of Forefoot surgery.
Chan Jeer's specialist interests are a reflection of his specialist training and include all aspects of hip, knee, foot and ankle surgery, arthroscopy and sports medicine.
