Paul Kirkland: Consultant Facial Plastic Surgeon specialising in cosmetic and facial plastic surgery treatments including cosmetic surgery of the nose (rhinoplasty), correction of prominent ears (otoplasty), facial skin lesion excision and facial rejuvenation procedures (muscle-relaxing injections and dermal fillers).

Mr Paul Kirkland MBBS, FRCS (Eng), FRCS (ORL-HNS), is an ENT, Cosmetic, and Facial Plastic Consultant. He provides private treatment through the Cosmetic Facial Clinic at the Spire Tunbridge Wells, Kent and the Spire Sussex Hospitals. Paul Kirkland has developed a particular interest and expertise in both reconstructive and aesthetic facial surgery, including the treatment of benign and malignant skin lesions, scar revision, rhinoplasty (nose reshaping), and otoplasty (correction of prominent ears).

After qualifying at St Thomas’s Hospital Medical School, London in 1989, Paul Kirkland underwent his specialist ENT training in London. He was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST) in otolaryngology - head & neck surgery.

Paul Kirkland underwent further specialist training in head and neck surgery at The Royal Marsden Hospital and thyroid/parathyroid surgery at The Hammersmith and Charing Cross Hospitals. He was awarded a fellowship by The European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery and trained in two centres of excellence in Europe.  

Paul Kirkland is on the General Medical Council's specialist register (GMC Number 3335534).

Research interests

Paul Kirkland has published a number of original articles in peer reviewed medical journals and has authored chapters in The European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery Textbook. He is actively involved in training and teaching postgraduate doctors and GPs.
