Dr John Wilkinson MB,BS (London); LRCP, MRCS (London); FRCP (UK) works as a private dermatologist at The Chiltern Hospital, Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire and is a General Medical Council accredited specialist in dermatology. He was previously Senior Consultant Dermatologist at High Wycombe and Amersham Hospitals, Buckinghamshire Hospitals NHS Trust.
Dr Wilkinson's dermatology chambers specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of both common and rare skin disorders including the diagnosis of benign and malignant skin lesions. His special interests include eczema/dermatitis, skin allergies, dermato-immunology, wound healing and the psychological aspects of skin disease.
Dr Wilkinson trained at St Thomas’ Hospital, London, where he was also Senior Registrar in Dermatology. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and a member of the British Association of Dermatologists and The Royal Society of Medicine and an Honorary Member of the French and Swedish Dermatology Societies. He is author of over 40 chapters and 170 publications on various aspects of clinical dermatology.
