Paul Kirkland: ENT, Thyroid and Facial Cosmetic Specialist Consultant, Kent & East Sussex

Paul Kirkland is an Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Consultant who specialises in thyroid disorders and facial cosmetic procedures. He provides private treatment at The ENT Clinic, which is based at  the Spire Tunbridge Wells and Spire Sussex Hospitals.

After qualifiying at St.Thomas' Hospital Medical School, London in 1989, he underwent his specialist ENT training in London. He was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST) in Otolaryngology - Head & Neck surgery, and is on the General Medical Council's specialist register (GMC Number 3335534).

Paul Kirkland undertook further specialist training in Head and Neck surgery at The Royal Marsden Hospital and Thyroid/Parathyroid surgery at The Hammersmith and Charing Cross Hospitals. He was also awarded a fellowship by The European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery and trained in two centres of excellence in Europe.

He is an ENT consultant at The East Sussex Hospitals NHS Trust and works at The Conquest and Eastbourne District General Hospitals.

Clinical interests

Whilst Mr Kirkland treats all general ENT disorders, he has developed a particular interest in the management of conditions affecting the thyroid, parathyroid and salivary glands. He has gained expertise in both reconstructive and aesthetic facial surgery, including the treatment of benign and malignant skin lesions, rhinoplasty, otoplasty, blepharoplasty and ageing face surgery. He also offers non-surgical facial cosmetic procedures including Botox and Dermal fillers.
