Whiston Hospital in Liverpool (NHS). He has a very broad experience of plastic surgery and has been working in this field for over 13 years in the UK. Mr Iqbal has performed a wide spectrum of procedures but has a special interest in breast surgery (reconstructive and aesthetic), facial aesthetic surgery, hand surgery for rheumatoid disease, trauma and nerve compressions, liposuction, trunk reconstruction and aesthetic surgery, skin cancer surgery and facial palsy surgery.
Mr Iqbal acquired his first medical qualification in 1987. His career in plastic surgery started in 1993; he gained his Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST) in 2004 and became a Consultant in 2005. Since then he has completed accredited training programmes in the United Kingdom at Wellington Hospital London and achieved fellowships in oncoplastic breast surgery (specially aimed at post cancer surgery breast reconstruction) and aesthetic and cosmetic surgery. Mr Iqbal is also interested in microvascular reconstructive surgery.
