Dr Ralf Hammentgen at 10 Harley Street, London, is a Cardiac Consultant who has been practising since 1993, and has specialised in angiology since 1995. He specialises in providing non-invasive cardiological diagnostic procedures as well as coronary angiography, internal medicine and men’s health.
Dr Ralf Hammentgen has been a practising cardiologist in Dusseldorf, Germany since 1993 and as a specialist in angiography since 1995. In January 2011 he joined 10 Harley Street as a Cardiac Consultant. He specialises in providing non-invasive cardiological diagnostic procedures.
Dr Hammentgen studied at the University of Dusseldorf as well as the University of Bochum, Germany. Since 1995 Dr Hammentgen has worked with department of cardiology at the University of Essen.
He gained his expertise in coronary angiography and interventional cardiology at the University of Essen, the renowned Cardiac Centre of North Rhine Westfalia. Dr Hammentgen consults at 10 Harley Street for part of the week but retains his private practice in Dusseldorf where his facilities include a Cath-Lab, which is also available to patients from his Harley Street practice.

Dr Hammentgen specialises in non-invasive cardiac and vascular ultrasonic diagnostics, echocardiography. He also performs ultra sound examinations of all internal organs.
Dr Hammentgen has a special clinical interest in Men’s Health, particularly the substitution of decreased testosterone levels with prescription drugs when erectile function is reduced. Dr Hammentgen also offers anti-aging checks for men.
