Based at University College Hospital (UCH) in London since 1976, Professor Goldstone has over 30 years' experience in the treatment of blood cancers and blood disorders and was responsible for establishing the hospital's leukaemia and transplant service.  He was the first person to hold the roles of clinical director and medical director at UCH and has been clinical director of Harley Street at University College Hospital since its inception in 2005.


Widely regarded as one of the world's leading haematologists, Professor Goldstone works at the cutting edge of research into leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma, and has made a major contribution to the development of new therapies, including the establishment of dose-escalated therapy with stem cell rescue as standard therapy for patients with blood cancers.  He is in demand both nationally and internationally as a speaker and has published over 300 peer review publications in the field of haematology.
