Mr Sanjay Varma MBBS, MS, FRCSED, FRCSED (Plastic Surgery) is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon in the NHS and in private practice.  Mr Varma practises in Leicestershire and Lincolnshire, with NHS clinics in Leicester, Loughborough, Oakham, Melton Mowbray and Lincoln. His private practice is based at The Spire Leicester Hospital, Leicester, Nuffield Health Leicester Hospital, Leicester and BMI Lincoln Hospital, Lincoln.

Mr Sanjay Varma holds the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in Plastic Surgery FRCSED (Plastic Surgery).  He received training in Plastic Surgery at Leicester Royal Infirmary Hospital, Bradford Royal Infirmary and St James' University Hospital, Leeds.  Mr Sanjay Varma was appointed as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon in November 1993 to the University Hospitals NHS Trust and Leicester Royal Infirmary.  Mr Varma has been in private practice since this appointment.

Mr Sanjay Varma is a graduate (MBBS) of the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, India and he completed his Master of Surgery (MS) degree at the same institute.   He has received training in general surgery in the prestigious hospitals in New Delhi, and in the UK at Hammersmith Hospital, London and Harefield Hospital, Middlesex.

Mr Sanjay Varma is an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh for the MRCS examination and for the Intercollegiate Board in Plastic Surgery.  Mr Sanjay Varma is The Taj Medical Group’s UK based consultant plastic surgeon and he is also on the Specialist Register of the GMC for plastic surgery.
