Fiona MacNeill qualified from St Bartholomew's Hospital in London in 1983.
She was appointed as Eastern Region Quality Assurance Surgeon in 2001 and in 2002 appointed Breast Tutor at the Royal College of Surgeons of England and since then has successfully delivered their national sentinel node training programme. In 2006 her educational and training achievements were recognised with the award of the Silver Scalpel. In 2006 she became Consultant Breast Surgeon at the Royal Marsden Hospital, having previously been a Breast Consultant in Colchester since 1996 the same year that she joined The London Breast Clinic Team.
