Mrs Chien C Kat MB,BS, FRCS (Edin), FRCS (Plastic) qualified as a doctor from the National University of Singapore Medical School in 1987. Since then she has had an additional six years specialist training in Plastic Surgery at Mount Vernon Hospital in London, Queen Mary University Hospital in Roehampton and Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Aylesbury.
Her fellowships include the renowned Wellington Hospital in London, the regional breast centre based at the University Hospital of South Manchester and the plastic and reconstructive unit at the world renowned Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, USA which saw her cover all aspects of breast surgery.
In October of 2000 she was appointed as a Consultant Plastic Reconstruction and Cosmetic Surgeon at the University Hospital of Birmingham, with a specialist interest in breast surgery. In April of 2003, her NHS breast surgery work led her to develop a similar service at the Heart of England NHS Trust, which has now become the base for her NHS practice.

Mrs Kat only uses the best performance Allergan implants. The implants are available in both the round and anatomical (teardrop) shape with 4 different projections (low, moderate, full, extra-full) to suit a variety of patient frame and desires.
