Dr Leon Rozewicz: Private Psychiatrist, London and Harrow

A private psychiatrist based in London and Harrow specialising in the treatment of adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, psychotic illness and psychopharmacology.

Dr Rozewicz is a Consultant Psychiatrist and Clinical Director at Barnet, Enfield & Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust. He qualified at the Middlesex Hospital in London in 1984 and did his postgraduate training in psychiatry at St George’s Hospital in London and at the Institute of Neurology at University College London. Dr Rozewicz has published research papers on psychiatric aspects of multiple sclerosis.

As well as being a specialist in psychiatry, Dr Rozewicz is a fully trained general practitioner and has a postgraduate qualification in general medicine.

Dr Rozewicz is a Medical Examiner for the General Medical Council and the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain. He is a past Honorary Secretary of the Faculty of Community & General Psychiatry at the Royal College of Psychiatrists and is approved by all the UK Medical Insurance companies including BUPA and AXA/PPP.

Dr Rozewicz is an experienced general adult psychiatrist, with a special interest in treating and assessing adults with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). He also treats patients with depression, bipolar affective disorder, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder and psychotic illness. Dr Rozewicz has an expertise in managing combinations of psychotropic medications.

Using a combination of medication and psychotherapy Dr Rozewicz works closely with several experienced therapists who are able to offer cognitive behaviour therapy and analytic therapy. He takes an eclectic approach which depends on the needs of individual patients and is able to offer a wide variety of therapeutic approaches

Dr Rozewicz is fluent in English, Polish and Hebrew. He is able to consult in Polish and Hebrew if that is required.
