As well as treating all ear nose and throat problems, Mr Salama has a long-standing special interest in rhinology and sinus surgery. His practice involves using all the latest technology and relies on minimally invasive principles, including the use of balloon sinuplasty. Also he has an interest in snoring and associated sleep problems.
Mr Nabil Salama (FRCS) is a Consultant Otolaryngologist and Head & Neck Surgeon at University Hospital, Lewisham, Honorary Senior Lecturer at United Medical and Dental School of Guys, Kings and St. Thomas'. He was appointed as a Consultant in 1983, based mainly at University Hospital, Lewisham.
Mr Salama graduated in 1973. He underwent his ENT training at the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital before becoming a consultant. He teaches both undergraduate students and post graduate doctors. He has been a faculty member on FESS (sinus surgery) training course and has run his own course on FESS surgery. He has published various articles mainly on the nose and sinuses.
Mr Salama works privately as part of a group of six ENT surgeons, drawing from 70 plus years of combined NHS experience, providing expertise in all areas of Ear, Nose and Throat disorders.
Together the London ENT Surgeons have admitting privileges at over eight premier private hospitals, spread across London and the south, including Harley Street and Wimpole Street, allowing them to provide care for their patients as close to home as possible.
