A highly qualified eye surgeon and squint specialist
Mr Nadeem Ali MA MB BChir MRCOphth FRCSEd(Ophth) studied medicine at the University of Cambridge. He completed his general ophthalmic training in the North East of England before undertaking Fellowships in Strabismus, Neuro-Ophthalmology and Paediatric Ophthalmology. He did further Fellowship training at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square, London and Moorfields Eye Hospital.
He currently works as a full-time NHS Consultant Squint Surgeon and Neuro-Ophthalmologist at Moorfields. In addition, he runs outreach clinics at two other London teaching hospitals, the Royal London Hospital and St George’s Hospital, and conducts research at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. He trains Fellows from the UK and abroad in squint surgery and co-ordinates, teaches and examines the Ophthalmology course for medical students at St George’s Medical School, London.
