Dr Jagdip Sidhu, MBBS, MD, FRCP (UK), is a Consultant Cardiologist who practices in London and Kent.
Dr Sidhu qualified from St Mary’s Hospital Medical School in 1994 with several Prizes, Scholarships and University of London Distinctions. After obtaining MRCP in 1997, he began specialist training in cardiology in the North West Thames Region. He spent two years completing a Clinical Research Project and was awarded his MD thesis (University of London) in 2003. Dr Sidhu has trained at several centres of excellence including cardiac units at Hammersmith, St Mary’s and Harefield Hospitals. Therefore, he has extensive experience in all areas of adult cardiology.
Dr Sidhu was appointed as a Consultant Cardiologist at Darent Valley Hospital and St Thomas’ Hospital in 2007. He has a particular expertise in interventional cardiology and was instrumental in starting new interventional procedures at Dartford & Gravesham NHS Trust. He regularly performs coronary angiography, coronary angioplasty / stenting and pacemaker implantation at both NHS and private hospitals. Dr Sidhu plays an active role in developing cardiac services for the population of Kent. He is Clinical Lead for the Cardiac Catheter Laboratory at Darent Valley Hospital.
Dr Sidhu’s private practice spans South East London and North & West Kent. He has private practice privileges at BMI Fawkham Manor, Chelsfield Park and Spire Alexandra hospitals. Dr Sidhu speaks English, Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu.
