The hospital opened in 1992 and currently has 45 beds including three twin-bedded rooms all with en-suite facilities to ensure complete privacy. In addition, dedicated high dependency rooms with central monitoring facilities and parent and child rooms are available. Each room has its own telephone, TV and radio as well as comfortable facilities for your visitors.

Clinical services:
Over 100 consultants support the hospital across most specialities from Allergies to Urology and have access to 11 private consulting rooms for outpatient appointments. The hospital is also equipped with a fully equipped Laminar Flow theatre suite and a day unit suitable for minor operations and endoscopy.

Diagnostic facilities include an imaging department with on-site X-ray, Ultrasound, Mammography and Dental X-ray Equipment. MRI, CT and DEXA scanning services are supplied by Capio Diagnostic mobile units.

Treatment Facilities include an on site physiotherapy department staffed by chartered physiotherapists. It has a fully equipped gymnasium, Isokinetic equipment, TLO1 Booth (Ultra violet B Treatments) and offers a continence service.

Surgery can be arranged for Children over 3 years of age. They are nursed by RSCN's (Registered Sick Children's Nurses) and accommodated in child friendly rooms with parent accommodation. Surgical procedures include; Squint Correction, Hernia Repair, Circumcision, Tonsillectomy and Insertion of Grommets.

Dr Rod Jaques, full time Sports Injuries Consultant retained by the British Olympic Association, utilises these facilities conducting his clinics from a dedicated sports injuries suite.

An on-site pharmacy registered with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain also provides private prescriptions for outpatients and inpatients.

The Hospital also provides 24 hour clinical care through our resident RMO's (Resident Medical Officers).
