Miss Lisa Dakar is a First Level Registered Mental Health Nurse. She has been working in her current job for the last six years in the NHS with adults and older people with mental health. Her current post is Acting Ward Manager. She has experience of working with clients with various mental health needs as well as with managing a team of nurses.
Miss Dakar carried out her studies at Anglia Ruskin University and successfully qualified six years ago. Currently she is undertaking a Bsc Top Up Degree in Mental Health.
Miss Dakar has been working for the NHS as a senior nurse for the last six years and specialises in working with clients with depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and dementia. She has also worked with carers to provide education and support for mental health sufferers.
Miss Dakar is particularly interested in mental health education because she believes that there is still a huge stigma attached to mental health and mental health sufferers and greater degree of mental health awareness is required to overcome this.
