What is a 4D baby scan?

4D baby scans are essentially the same as 3D scans except that 3D scans show still images whereas the 4D scan will show foetal movement. GE Healthcare are a world leader in ultrasound scanning systems and GE Healthcare systems are commonly used in the NHS. Baby Premier would recommend your 4D scan be performed during the 26-32 week period of your pregnancy to secure the best possible image quality as the more animated facial images and facial movements are generally found between this term of pregnancy.
