Care at The London Maternity Centre is consultant-led and babies are delivered either at The Portland Hospital or at The Lindo Wing in St Mary’s Hospital. Both Dr Murphy and Dr Lakasing have many years of experience in delivering babies, including successful care of complicated pregnancies.
Highly qualified and eminent obstetricians in London
Dr Murphy has RCOG sub-specialist accreditation in Fetal Medicine and is in charge of the Fetal Medicine Unit at St Mary’s Hospital. He has considerable expertise in the field of Obstetric Ultrasound, Prenatal Diagnosis and High Risk Obstetrics. Karl has been providing full private care to mothers who wish to have one-to-one treatment throughout pregnancy and birth since 1994.
Dr Lorin Lakasing is experienced in managing both normal and complex pregnancies. When it comes to working with patients, she believes in transparency, choice and a personal approach. She delivers patient centered care and believes that attention to an individual woman’s circumstances is of paramount importance.
Midwife Carmel has been a practising midwife for 22 years and has been a Labour Ward Co-ordinator for over 14 years.
Helen is an experienced Practice Manager who has worked in Private Healthcare for many years. She has particular experience in the field of Women’s Healthcare.
