Night Nannies maternity care services in London and the UK

Night Nannies have a highly experienced team of over 300 loyal nannies who have exceptional references. After every job is completed, feedback and references from clients are checked. Many of their nannies have been with them since their launch in 1999.

The agency interviews the nannies personally and will test them on their childcare knowledge. The agency checks all professional qualifications and will check references with previous employers and referees.

All members of the Night Nannies team have excellent newborn experience. They are paediatric nurses, midwives, maternity nurses, paramedics, health visitors, qualified nannies or nannies with extensive newborn experience.

Time will be spent with every client to discuss their specific situation so that they can be allocated a night nanny who is best-suited to the family.  Each client will be sent references and a career history of a night nanny.

Night Nannies - baby girl sleeping

Your Night Nanny will arrive at 9pm and leave at 7am. These hours can be more flexible if pre-arranged directly with the nanny. She will not only care for your child, but will also guide your child to sleep through the night.

Your Maternity Nurse will stay 24 hours a day for up to six days a week.  She can be booked for placements of one week up to six weeks, depending on your requirements. She will develop a 24 hour routine for your baby focussing on effective feeding and sleeping patterns and ensuring that the new baby settles quickly and easily into your family.

These highly specialised members of the team have expertise in training older babies (from 6 months to 5 years) to sleep through the night. They will explain their strategies (which are tailored to your specific needs) to you beforehand so that you will understand what is happening.

A super nanny will come to your home during the day to resolve problems with weaning, transition from breast to bottle feeding, potty-training, table manners, sibling rivalry, nutrition, discipline and other behavioural issues as well as sleeping routines.

Many of the night nannies have expertise in breastfeeding counselling. If good breastfeeding habits can be established as early as possible it is more likely that breastfeeding will continue for longer. The night nannies will carry out a home or hospital visit to resolve any issues you may be having from the very beginning.

One of the nannies will come to your home for half or a whole day to assist and advise you to help prepare you for the birth of your child and to help you to care for your baby after the birth.

Night Nannies has provided support for post-natal depression (PND) since their launch in 1999 and will provide nannies who will offer advice and counselling in your own home.
