MRI scans

MRI is a non-invasive, painless, diagnostic scan which provides a detailed picture, allowing the radiologist to see internal organs, blood vessels, muscles, joints, tumors and inflamed areas.

An MRI scan can create clear pictures of most parts of the body. So, it is useful for all sorts of reasons where other tests (such as X-rays) do not give enough information required. Ultrasound scan (imaging / sonography) is a common diagnostic procedure that uses high-frequency sound waves to produce pictures of the inside of the body. Because ultrasound produces dynamic images, it can show the structure and movement of the body’s internal organs, as well as blood flowing through blood vessels.
