Angiography

The new angiography suite has the latest imaging currently available in London. At Bupa Cromwell they can now undertake full range of cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures using stunning quality 3D imaging.   

Bone density scanning

Bone density x-ray scan (DEXA) to assess the presence of osteoporosis.

CT scanning

At Bupa Cromwell Hospital they recently installed one of the first high definition, low radiation CT scanners in London.

Endoscopy

Endoscopy is the examination of the internal organs of the body and are often employed to diagnose conditions of the gastro-intestinal tract.

Mammography

The hospital’s digital mammography services use X-rays to detect changes in a woman’s breasts which are used to detect early signs of breast cancer.

MRI scan

Bupa Cromwell installed the UK’s first Philips Ingenia 1.5T private 'ambient experience' MRI Scanner with ambient lighting, which provides a 30% reduction in scan time compared with conventional scanners.

PET/CT scan

Cancer may spread into areas hidden from CT or MRI scans. Specialist PET/CT scanners can find if cancer which has spread to the bone, liver or lymph nodes. 

Vascular scanning

Using Doppler ultrasound, combined with conventional ultrasound, vascular scanning is used to assess the blood vessels.
