Scanhealth Scandinavia is a partnership of three health care providers - Privatsykehuset Haugesund (a private hospital, located nearby), Haugesund Røntgen Institutt (a private radiology centre) and Klinikk Hausken (a private infertility centre, also located nearby) in Haugesund, West Norway. They have new high-quality medical equipment and top-qualified personnel that are present at all operations.

Scanhealth, Scandinavia is co-located and works closely with Haugesund Medisinske Senter AS, which is involved in general practice, occupational medicine, and otolaryngology (ear, nose, and throat disorders), as well as having a large department for physiotherapy.

They do not have a waiting list, therefore you will get treatment when you need to.

Ultrasound - Siemens Acuson Antares installed in Spring 2006
Siregraph - Siemens T.O.P. 33 Siregraph for Fluoroscopy and Barium studies
Bone Density Measuring - Prodigy Lunar which has recently been upgraded
Totally digital - their systems were totally digitalised in 2004. Scans can be seen and sent within seconds with just a touch of a button.

Radiologists

Their 2 radiologists have 25 years experience between them within radiology, and are EU accredited. They work closely with their partner companies to continually improve working methods and share medical experiences and competence. One of their partner companies is a firm of radiologists in Oslo. These doctors are highly qualified and experienced. Having these doctors available means that reports can be quickly written and sent out, whatever the workload.

Radiographers

The company are continually training their dynamic team of young enthusiastic radiographers to improve their understanding and to stay ahead of their competition, by keeping up with a constantly changing and improving technology. Their doctors have many years of experience behind them and ultrasound is just one of their specialities. There is also a mammography team.

A comprehensive package
