This is mineral water with a high concentration of therapeutically effective and efficient hydrogen sulphide (680 mg/l). These levels rank Smrdáky´s mineral water as some of the most concentrated hydrogen sulphide waters in Europe. This mineral water is distinguished by its characteristic odour its and remarkable efficacy for the treatment of particular skin diseases.

It also contains minerals and salts, especially Na (sodium), Mg (magnesium) and Ca (calcium) at levels of 3400 mg/l, which contribute favourably to the healing and therapeutic effect.

Sulphurous mud

This is a peloid emerging with hydrogen sulphide water. A peloid is mud or clay used therapeutically, as part of balneotherapy (therapeutic bathing).
