Highly experienced cosmetic dental surgeon

Principal dentist, Farbod Javad, graduated from Gothenburg University in January 2003. Gothenburg University is famous for its distinctive type of dentistry education, and is ranked highly for its research, teaching methods and ongoing dentistry development work.

Farbod then studied Botox^® and facial rejuvenation in London, under celebrity dentist Kevin Zadshir. He subsequently attended the General Implant Teaching Foundation where he undertook a 1-year implantology course.

After completing 8 months as an associate, Dr Javad set up his own NHS dental practice, The Shoreham Dental Centre. This practice has thrived and now has four associates and one hygienist.

During this time he trained in Cerec 3D and Lumineers and he also developed a keen interest in the field of cosmetic dentistry. His patients often praise him for his friendly, informal and professional manner.

Drill-less dentistry - no needle, no drill!

Aquacut Quattro (fluid/air abrasion drill-less dentistry) is a new instrument that can be used as an alternative to the drill in many procedures. Air abrasion (drill-less dentistry) uses a microscopically fine powder which is carried to the tooth by a stream of air, gently spraying away decay. 

This allows Dr Javad to prepare many types of cavity without using a drill, and there is no direct contact with the tooth. The Aquacut Quattro system removes decay and damaged tooth matter with various benifits but no drawbacks - in many cases it removes the need for a local anaesthetic injection.
