Savina Dental Clinic: Dental treatment in Malta

Savina Dental Clinic was established in Victoria, Gozo in 1985. It is a complete dental and oral health centre, catering for local and foreign residents and visiting patients to Malta from all over Europe.

It enjoys an excellent reputation primarily due to its professionally trained staff. English, Italian and French are spoken fluently by various members of staff who can also communicate in German and Spanish.

In 2006 Savina Dental Clinic was accorded International Visiting Centre status for ZIMMER ® Dental Implants.

ZOOM!® Tooth Whitening

Oral Hygiene, spa-style ZOOM!® Tooth Whitening and Fresh Breath clinics are conducted by their two resident dental hygienists, Mr Martin Vella SRDH and Mr Paul Debrincat SRDH. Children, Emergencies and Phobic patients are welcome.

The clinical team

The Principal, Dr Joseph Xuereb BChD (Hons), MFGDP(UK), MGDS RCS(Eng), FFGDP RCS(UK), FICD is a general dental practitioner with a special interest in Restorative Dentistry. He graduated in Malta in 1985 and in 1998 qualified for membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practice of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Accommodation packages

For a first-time visitor in particular, Savina can arrange anything from a free initial consultation in the field of their choice to a complete travel, accommodation and treatment package. As an indication, a double room in a four star hotel within five minutes’ walk from the surgery starts from around €40 per night B&B.

All proposed treatment is discussed thoroughly, written treatment plans and estimates are provided, and all treatment is carried out under the strictest international protocols. Through our arrangements with local service providers they can also organise all auxiliary post-treatment services ranging from special dietary requirements through medical domiciliary visits to spa therapy.
