If you are looking for low cost dental treatment in France, SurgeryInFrance provide excellent quality oral surgery and dental implants. SurgeryInFrance specialises in oral and maxillofacial surgery, a branch of dentistry that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of defects, injuries and diseases of the head, mouth, teeth, gums, jaws and neck.
Dental implants are a particularly sought-after procedure in the UK and consequently NHS waiting times are long and private treatment is very expensive. SurgeryInFrance's approved oral and dental surgeons are highly skilled in implantology and can liaise with a UK dentist to fit implants with virtually no delay and at extremely competitive rates.
Treatments offered
- Dental implants
- Wisdom tooth removal
- Orthognathic surgery (bone restructuring)
- Cleft lip and palate surgery
- Sinus lift (bone augmentation)
- Dentoalveolar surgery (extraction of impacted and buried teeth, cysts)
The service is tailor-made to suit each patient's specific treatment needs. Listed above are some of the more common oral surgery procedures for illustrative purposes, but a choice of top specialists are available for virtually any dental procedure. Please contact SurgeryinFrance if you cannot see the procedure you are seeking.
Patient referrals
As treatments are offered on a privately funded basis, no doctor or dentist referral is required. For practical and cost purposes, the required treament will usually have been predetermined by the patient's own local practitioner, although preliminary diagnosis consultations can be arranged if required. In all cases, the patient will receive comprehensive pre-treatment consultations with the oral surgeon, the anaesthetist and a cardiologist (if required).
Low cost dentistry
With the health sector being highly regulated by the French government, private medical treatment in France is of excellent quality and very competitively priced.
SurgeryInFrance charges a fixed fee for research, advisory and logistical services. They provide an accurate budget for the medical treatment which the patient shall pay directly to the clinic and/or the medical professional. They do not charge a markup or receive a commission on the cost of the medical treatment. Travel and accommodation costs are also paid directly by the patient to the relevant service providers.
Though costs may vary depending on the treatment, patient requirements and healthcare provider, the table below gives a good indication of the savings to be made by choosing SurgeryInFrance.

A patient's journey
Initial consultation
You will need to contact SurgeryinFrance to discuss the type of oral surgery you require, your expectations, time or budget constraints and any other requirements you may have. They are also happy to discuss your prospective treatment with your UK dentist. A full understanding of your needs is essential to determine the oral surgeons who are best qualified for your procedure. These discussions are without charge, confidential and totally commitment-free.
Choosing your oral surgeon
You will receive a detailed file containing valuable information on each surgeon including qualifications, professional history, success rates and peer and patient comments. Also included will be the cost of the procedure, associated clinical costs, timing constraints that need to be taken into account as well as an estimate of the likely ancillary costs (travel, accommodation, etc).
With the assistance of the medical director and your own practitioner you will be able to make an informed choice of your preferred surgeon. SurgeryInFrance will supply any additional information which may help you make your decision.
Organising your trip and treatment
Once you have selected your surgeon, they will organise your treatment from start to finish by accompanying and supporting you throughout the whole process. Based on your requirements and the surgeon's schedule, they will organise the initial consultation and any preliminary clinical tests that need to be done.

Surgery
The day before the scheduled date, you will have consultations with your anaesthetist and surgeon in preparation for surgery.
After surgery, you will be taken to your private room for recovery. They will be there to provide moral support and to try and make your stay as comfortable as possible. Typically there will be a stay in the clinic (except day cases) followed by a stay in a nearby hotel or guest house. The durations of each depend on the type of surgery and post-operative constraints.
During the initial post-operative healing period, you will have regular consultations with the surgeon to ensure a prompt and comfortable recovery and you will also be able to relax and enjoy all that the region has to offer.
There will be a final post-operative consultation with your surgeon several weeks later. In the meantime, if required, they will liaise with your local practitioner.
