To get to the MK dental clinic you can either fly to Rijeka,Pula, Zagreb or Trieste (Italy).  Easyjet and Croatia airlines operate regular flights to Rijeka whilst Ryanair has flights to Pula and Trieste (Italy).

If you fly to Rijeka, an MK Dental Studio guide will meet you at the airport and will take you free of charge to the dental studio. If you fly to Pula, Zagreb or Trieste (Italy) you can take a bus, taxi or rental car to the dental clinic. The dental clinic can arrange your flight, accomodation and any other activities such as sightseeing, tours ( Plitvice lakes, waterfalls of Krka, NP Učka...) etc.

Dental treatment available

Before your arrival you must fill in a health questionnaire so that MK dental can provide you with a treatment plan and estimated costs for treatment.  This must be sent with a dental x-ray (Ortopan) and an opinion and lab results from your UK dentist together with the type of treatment recommended. On acceptance of the treatment plan and estimated costs an appointment will be made for your first consultation at the clinic.

On arrival at the clinic, you will be given a free clinical examination and an exact treatment plan and the cost of treatment. Dental x-rays are free.

For dental treatment costing up to 3000,00 euro, if you pay by cash you will be entitled to a 5% discount.

For a bill over 4000,00 euro, if you pay by cash you will be entitled to a 10% discount or free accomodation.

Experienced dentists

Dr Tamara Kovačević-Mikšić, graduated from the College of Stomatology (Dentistry) at the University of Rijeka with flying colours. After passing the state test and getting a licence, she completed a post-graduate degree at the Stomatological (Dental) College at the University of Zagreb. Tamara regualarly attends educational seminars to update her skills in order to provide first class dental services for her patients. After 4 years of working in a private clinic, Tamara started her own dental clinic. She is a member of the Croatian Dental Chamber. She speaks English and Italian.

Dr Damir Mikšić, graduated from the College of Stomatology (Dentistry) at the University of Rijeka with high grades. After graduating, he continued his education in Croatia and abroad (Rijeka, Zagreb, Milan, Vienna…) acquiring knowledge from such renowned professors as Dr.Lindhe, Dr. Dragoo, Dr.Jovanovich, Dr Curilović and many others. He is a member of the Croatian Dental Chamber, the Croatian Society for Dental Implantology and is part of the Croatian Nobel Biocare team. He is licensed for dental implants for the AstraandNobel Biocare systems and writes articles for the Burza magazine. He speaks English, Italian and German.
